Quickstart: First Chatbot

Publish your first assistant in minutes.

This is the shortest path from an empty workspace to a verified live assistant.

Build

Create a chatbot from the dashboard (Create Chatbot when you have none, or Create New Chatbot from the switcher in the sidebar header). Pick a recognizable name and, if useful, a primary use case so you can find and compare chatbots later.

Train

Open Knowledge and add at least one of the following before testing with real users:

  • Documents — Policies, product PDFs, or internal write-ups.
  • FAQs — Short questions and answers you already repeat in support.
  • Websites — Public URLs to crawl (choose depth and recrawl schedule to match how often the site changes).

Deploy

  1. Open Widget > Embed and Generate a new token, then add the script to your site.
  2. Turn the widget on if you disabled it, and keep your widget token safe (regenerate it if it is exposed).
  3. Open your site in a private or incognito window and send a test message.

Note: If you use Google Tag Manager for the embed, use the GTM option on the Embed tab to copy the GTM-friendly snippet.

Verify

Open Chat and confirm the test conversation appears. Use Overview to watch conversation and message counts update.

Refine

Use Widget > Appearance to match your brand, and Settings > AI Model to adjust model, style, and instructions. Revisit Knowledge as your product or policies change.
