Modules overview
Feature add-ons, purchasing, and where modules appear in the product.
Modules are paid feature add-ons that extend your workspace beyond core chat, knowledge, and integrations. They are separate from integration add-ons (Meta, Telegram, and similar channels).
Available modules
The catalog is dynamic, but the product currently ships:
| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Calendar | Let the assistant check availability and book meetings via connected calendars (Nylas). |
| Database | Let the assistant query a connected MySQL or PostgreSQL database for live answers (for example product catalog or order status). |
Your administrator may add or adjust modules in the platform catalog. If no modules appear on the marketplace page, more are coming soon.
Where to purchase modules
Open the user menu (avatar in the sidebar footer) and choose Modules (/dashboard/modules). Owners and team admins can purchase, cancel, or undo a scheduled cancellation from this page.
Purchasing may redirect to Stripe checkout. After a successful purchase, the module activates on your subscription and appears under Automation for entitled chatbots.
Where modules appear after purchase
Modules do not get their own sidebar items. Instead:
- Automation sidebar item becomes visible (if it was hidden) when you have calendar or database entitlements and the right access level.
- Entitled modules appear as tabs inside Automation: Calendar and/or Database, between Flows and Integrations.
Modules versus integrations
| Modules | Integrations | |
|---|---|---|
| Examples | Calendar, Database | Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram |
| Purchase | User menu > Modules | Automation > Integrations or Subscription |
| Configure | Automation tabs + module-specific settings | Automation > Integrations |
| Billing | Monthly module subscription | Plan-included or integration add-on |
Canceling a module
From Modules, owners and admins can cancel an active module. A confirmation dialog states that access ends at the end of the billing period. You can cancel cancellation before that date if you change your mind.
Permissions
Only billing-eligible users (owners and team admins) see Modules in the user menu. Configuring a module on a specific chatbot still requires appropriate per-chatbot access—typically owner or admin, with calendar-specific exceptions for team members who can manage their own calendar identity.
