Short Q&A pairs for high-intent, repeatable questions.
FAQs are curated question-and-answer pairs attached to a chatbot. They complement Documents and Websites by locking in exact wording for common topics.
Where to find FAQs
Open Knowledge in the sidebar, then the FAQs tab (?tab=faqs).
When to add FAQs
- Questions customers ask every week (hours, shipping, refund steps).
- Numbers or policies that must stay precise.
- Disambiguation where your docs are long but the answer should be one paragraph.
Quality
Keep answers short and current. If the underlying policy changes, update the FAQ before the next surge of tickets.
Relationship to the widget
You can also configure suggested questions in Widget > Appearance so visitors see starters that match your FAQ themes—keep both lists aligned.
