Closing your account
Permanently delete your Chatloop account from Profile settings.
Account closure deletes your whole workspace—not a single chatbot. Use this when you want to leave Chatloop entirely. To remove only one assistant while keeping your account, see Creating and managing chatbots (section on deleting a chatbot).
How to close your account
- Sign in and open Account from the user menu (avatar in the sidebar footer), or go to
/dashboard/profile. - Scroll to the bottom of the profile form. Click Delete Account.
- Read the warning: the product states that your account, along with all its users and conversations, will be deleted permanently and cannot be undone.
- Type your account email address exactly as shown in the dialog (case-sensitive match to the field).
- Click Delete Account in the dialog to confirm.
If the request succeeds, you are signed out and returned to the public home page.
Before you close
- Export or save anything you need outside Chatloop; recovery after deletion is not available through self-service.
- If you only wanted to stop billing or remove one bot, consider canceling subscriptions under user menu > Subscription and deleting individual chatbots instead of closing the whole account.
- Cancel active modules and integration add-ons from Modules, Subscription, or Automation > Integrations before closing if you want to avoid further charges through the current period.
Need help
If deletion fails or you need an org-wide data export before closing, contact support with your account email and approximate time of the attempt.
