AI model and style

Models, response style, instructions, and testing.

Under Settings > AI Model you configure how the assistant reasons and sounds. Available providers and models depend on your subscription and administrator configuration.

Model and provider

Pick a provider and model from what your plan exposes. Some models are marked as premium or limited; upgrades may be required if you hit restrictions.

Response style

Choose a style such as friendly, professional, casual, or technical. That shapes default phrasing on top of your knowledge.

Instructions and behavior

Use the system and behavior fields (labeled in the product) to state rules: what the bot should never do, how to handle unknowns, brand voice, and escalation hints. Keep instructions consistent with Resources—the model cannot reliably contradict your uploaded facts.

Parameters

Controls such as temperature affect randomness versus determinism. Lower values tend to stick closer to retrieved context; higher values can be more varied.

Testing

Use the built-in test interaction on the AI settings page to validate changes before sending traffic. For end-to-end checks, use Preview (if available) or the live widget and watch Chat.

Usage and limits

Token and request limits apply per plan. Monitor Settings > Usage & Limits and your Billing details to avoid surprises during campaigns.
