Widget appearance

Colors, layout, header, launcher, and branding.

Settings > Widget Appearance controls how the chat window and launcher look on your site. A live preview helps you iterate before publishing.

Position and size

Choose position (for example bottom-right or center), size preset, and dimensions so the widget fits your layout without hiding critical UI.

Launcher (chat bubble)

Customize the icon, color, label text, and optional image so the bubble matches your brand. Pick a theme mode: light, dark, or system so it respects visitor preferences where supported.

Set title, subtitle, logo or avatar, and header background colors or patterns. Patterns and imagery are optional—use them when they reinforce your brand without hurting readability.

Conversation surface

Adjust font, font size, border radius, message bubble styles for user versus assistant, background colors, shadows, and animations (including typing indicator style).

Suggested questions

Add up to three suggested prompts visitors can tap to start a conversation. Phrase them like real customer questions and keep them updated with your FAQs.

Branding

A Show Chatloop branding option may be available. On some free plans, branding cannot be disabled—upgrade if your policy requires a fully white-labeled widget.

Custom CSS

Advanced users can inject custom CSS for fine-grained control. Test across light and dark themes and mobile widths.

Preview

Use the Preview page (where available) or your staging site to validate changes. Clear cache or use a private window if styles appear stale.
